WebApr 17, 2008 · I dislocated my ring finger on my L hand 2 weeks ago. I went to the hospital and it was reduced and buddy taped. I was told to take the tape of to shower etc. and then after 2 weeks remove it totally. My finger is slightly painful but I cannot bend it more than halfway. It's not specially sore to bend-it just won't go any furthur.
